Teaching Experience
Qualifications and areas of specialization:
Over 20 years of experience teaching visual art: all levels of drawing, painting and printmaking at the post-secondary level, in both universities and animation programs.
Taught visual art in the department of Fine Art at the University of Waterloo as a sessional professor since 2002
Extensive experience in teaching painting (oil and acrylic), drawing (life drawing, structural drawing, still life drawing, expressive drawing, observational drawing etc.), printmaking and anatomy.
For the last 25 years I also taught in other post-secondary institutions such as Sheridan College (Oakville), Fanshawe College (London), Central Technical School (Toronto), Toronto Studio School, and Max the Mutt Animation School (Toronto).
Responsible for designing visual arts curricula and course outlines and training other visual art instructors in addition to my teaching.
