Face to Face Project

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been awarded a 15/150 Region of Waterloo Arts Fund grant, for my “Face to Face Project”, in celebration of Canada’s Sesquicentennial, and the Region of Waterloo Art Fund’s 15th anniversary.

You are invited to come view an installation of 44 paintings, specially created for this event, to be exhibited from Jan. 3rd to 31st, 2018, at the Rotunda Gallery  at Kitchener City Hall. The opening reception will be Thursday, January 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Live music with the award-winning Celtic trio NUA.    www.trionua.com

The Face to Face Project:   An installation of 44 mixed media paintings to convey the spirit of Canada’s cultural identity and increasing ethnic diversity.

Thirty paintings   –  16 contemporary oil portraits of U. of Waterloo students, and 24 mixed-media paintings inspired by archival photographs of Canadian youth spanning 150 years ago.
