Face to Face Project

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been awarded a 15/150 Region of Waterloo Arts Fund grant, for my “Face to Face Project”, in celebration of Canada’s Sesquicentennial, and the Region of Waterloo Art Fund’s 15th anniversary.

You are invited to come view an installation of thirty paintings, specially created for this event, to be exhibited from Nov. 12 to 18th, at the ARTERY GALLERY at the University of Waterloo.

The Face to Face Project:   An installation of paintings to convey the spirit of Canada’s cultural identity and increasing ethnic diversity.

Thirty paintings   –  15 contemporary oil portraits of U. of Waterloo students, and 15 monochromatic mixed-media paintings inspired by archival photographs of Canadian youth from 150 years ago.

Artery Gallery, Fine Art Department, University of Waterloo


You’re warmly invited to attend the opening reception:
